RESOLUTION NO. 62-1.51 DECLARING INTENTION TO ANNEX TERRITORY TO THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND DESIGNATING AN APPROPRIATE NAME FOR SAID TERRITORY OF "SANTA CLARA AND DEODAR S. ANNEX" WHEREAS, a description and map of territory hereinbelow described were presented to the Santa Aha Planning Commission, which approved annexation of said territory, and to the Orange County Boundary Commission, which caused a report to be prepared and delivered to the City of Santa Ana finding that the boundaries of said proposed annexation were reasonably definite and certain; and WHEREAS, the owner of all of the land and assessed value in said territory herein proposed to be annexed did, on July 25, 1962, file a written petition requesting annexation of said territory to the City of Santa Ana. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby declares its intention to annex all of the territory hereinbelow described under the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Territory Act of 1939; hereby finds and declares that said territory is uninhabited within the meaning of Government Code Section 35303 on the date of the adoption of this Resolution and that said territory is contiguous to the City of Santa Aha, lies in the County of Orange, State of Califo~nia, and is described as: Beginning at a point on the City boundary of the City of Santa Ana, California, said point being on the North line of the Tustin and Seventeenth N.E. Annex (Ordinance No. NS-468) to the City of Santa Aha, said point also being on the North line of the South half of Lot 12 in Block "B" of the A. B. Chapman Tract, as surveyed by Frank LeCouvreur in December, 1870, as shown on a map of survey filed in Book 9, Page 39, Records of Survey, County of Orange, in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, said point being 30 feet West of the West line of the East half of said Lot 12; thence departing from said City boundary North 0° 53' 22" East parallel with and 30 feet West measured at right angles from the West line of the East half of the North half of said Lot 12, a distance of 635 feet, more or less, to the South line of Santa Clara Avenue, said South line being parallel with and 25 feet South, measured at right angles from the North line of said LOt 12; thence South 88° 57' 07" East 126 feet, more or less, along said South line, to a point on said South line, which is 563.46 feet West, measured along said South line, -1-
