BOWERS, HIS WIFE, AS TRUSTORS AND T~ FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF SANTA ANA, AS TRUSTEE; CREATING A BOARD 0F MUSEUM TRUSTEES AND PRESCRIBING THEIR DUTIES AND POWERS; AND AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOYMENT OF AN ARCHITE~ TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BUILDl~G TO HE CONSTRUCTED UNDER THE TER;~L$ OF SAID TRUST AGREEMENT". THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTION l. That Section 3 of Ordinance No. 939, entitled "AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA, ACCEPTING THE REAL PROPERTY AND TRUST ESTATE OFFERED TO THE CITY OF SANTA A~A, UNDER THE TER~.~ AigD CONDITIONS PROVIDED FOR IN THAT CERTAIN TRUST AGREEI,~NT DATED THE 28th DAY OF 5LAY, 1924, EXECUTED BY C. W. BOWERS AAU) ADA A. BOWERS, HIS WIFE, AS TRUSTORS AND TEE FIRST NATIONAL BANK OF SANTA ANA, AS TRUSTEE; CREATING A BOARD OF MUSEUM TRUSTEES AND PRESCRIBING THEIR DUTIES AND POWERS$ AND AUTHORIZING THE EMPLOY~ENT OF AN ARCHITECT TO PREPARE PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR THE BUILDING TO BE CONSTRUCTED UNDER TI-~R. TER2~S OF SAID TRUST AGREEmeNT", be and the same is hereby amended so as to read as follows: "SECTION 3. That there is hereby created a Board of ;~Iuseum Trustees consisting of five members, to be appointed by the City Council of the City of Santa Ana, and, except for the first Board appointed hereunder, shall hold office for a term of five years, or until their successors are appointed. The Board first appoint- ed hereunder shall hold office for the following terms or until their successors are appointed; one member shall be appointed for one year, one member for two years, one member for three years, one member for four years, and one member for five years. That said Board of Museum Trustees shall receive no compen- sation for their services. They shall act in an advisory capacity to the said City Council in all matters pertaining to the care, management and improvement of the grounds and premises.
