ORDINANCE N 0. ~.L~.._- 0RDINAI~CE A~iENDING ZONING 0RDINAiiCE NO. 1074 WHEREAS~ the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has tgiven notice.of public meetings as required by law in connection with he applicatmon to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the question of such amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recommended the same to the City Council for adoption; and WPIEREAS, t~he City Council gave due and regular notice of a public hearing to be held before the City Council, and such public hearing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public necessity requires the following amendment and change in the pres- ent classification of certain property in the City of Santa Aha and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classification will not be de- trimental to the surrounding property; NOW THEREFORE, T~ COL~NCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section l: That Sheets numbered 8, 8, 9, 18, 19, 22 and 2~ of the Districting Map of the City of Santa Aha of Ordinance No. 1074 entitled "AN 0RDi~NANCE ESTABLISHING DISTRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA ~D ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE HEIGP~I~ OF BUII~INGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A ~AP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TEPJ~1S USED IN SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADJUST~IENT, AI~END}~NT At~D ~FORCE~NT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PE~ALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDINANCES AI~'~I~DATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLE~JNTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH", be and the same are hereby amended to reclassify as C District all property now classified as C-1 District and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the east line of North Bristol Street, 180 feet north of the intersection of said line with the north line of Wost Seventeenth Street; thence east, psrallel to ~Vest Seventeenth ~treet, lB0 feet; thence south, parallel to Bristol Street, 208 feet to the south line of West Seventeenth Street; thence west along the south line of ~est Seventeenth Street, 8 feet; thence south, parallel to North Bristol Street, l~0 feet; thence west, parallel to West Seventeenth Street, 0~4 feet; thence north, parallel to North Bristol Street, ~S0 feet; thence east, parallel to Nest Seventeenth Street 210 feet to the east line of North Bristol; thence north $ feet to the point of beginning; and also All that certain real property bounded as follows: on the north by a line uniformly l~O feet north of t he noPth line of East Seventeenth Street, on the south by a line uniformly 1S0 feet south of the south line of East Seventeenth Street; on the east by a line uniformly lB0 feet east o£ the east line of Grand Avenue; and on the west by a line uniformly 1SO feet west of the west line of Grand Avenue~ That attached hereto and made a part hereof is a map showing the changes hereby made in said Districting ~ap, and the aforesaid sheets of said Districting ~ap are hereby amended in accordance herewith. Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this ordinance ~ud shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Ana, and hereby designated for t hat purpose. This ordinance shall take effect thirty days ~om and after its adoption.
