Ordinance No. ORDINANCE ZON G 0 OINANCE NO. lo75 WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with all applications to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the question of each amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recom~ended such amendments to the City Councillor adoption; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a pub- lic hearing to be held before the City Council, ~ud such public hearing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public necessity requires the following amendments and changes in the present classification of certain property in the City of Santa Ann and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classifications will not be detrimental to the surrounding property: NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: That Sheet 6 of the Districting Map of the City of Santa Ann of Ordinance No. 107$ entitled "AN 0RDINANaE ESTABLISHING ~IS- TRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE EIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING A NAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TE~MS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE PROVID- ING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, A~2~DMEI~T AND EI~FORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDIN- ANCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS 0R ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH" be ~mended to reclassify as M-1 District all that property now classified as R-3 District and described as follows: The west 199.3 feet of the real property described as follows: Commencing at a point 158~ feet North and 301-05 feet West of an iron axle set at the intersection of the center lines of Fourth Street and Grand Avenue, and running thence North 717.8 feet; thence West 606.9 feet; thence South 717.8 feet, and thence East 606.9 feet to the place of beginning, excepting the southerly 20 feet thereof.
