Ordinance No. <br /> <br />ORDINANCE ZON G 0 OINANCE NO. <br /> <br />lo75 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ana has <br />given notice of public meetings as required by law in connection with <br />all applications to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties <br />hereinafter described, and has duly held two public meetings upon the <br />question of each amendment, and thereafter, by resolution, recom~ended <br />such amendments to the City Councillor adoption; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a pub- <br />lic hearing to be held before the City Council, ~ud such public hearing <br />has been duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now find <br />that public necessity requires the following amendments and changes in <br />the present classification of certain property in the City of Santa Ann <br />and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classifications will <br />not be detrimental to the surrounding property: <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS <br /> <br />FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1: That Sheet 6 of the Districting Map of the City of <br />Santa Ann of Ordinance No. 107$ entitled "AN 0RDINANaE ESTABLISHING ~IS- <br />TRICTS WITHIN THE CITY OF SANTA ANA AND ESTABLISHING CLASSIFICATIONS OF <br />LAND USES AND REGULATING SUCH LAND USES IN SUCH DISTRICTS; REGULATING THE <br />EIGHT OF BUILDINGS AND OPEN SPACES FOR LIGHT AND VENTILATION; ADOPTING <br /> <br />A NAP OF SAID DISTRICTS; DEFINING THE TE~MS USED IN SAID ORDINANCE PROVID- <br />ING FOR THE ADJUSTMENT, A~2~DMEI~T AND EI~FORCEMENT THEREOF; PRESCRIBING <br />PENALTIES FOR ITS VIOLATION AND REPEALING ORDINANCE NO. 809 AND ALL ORDIN- <br />ANCES AMENDATORY THEREOF OR SUPPLEMENTARY THERETO, AND ALL ORDINANCES OR <br />PARTS 0R ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH" be ~mended to reclassify as M-1 <br />District all that property now classified as R-3 District and described <br />as follows: <br /> <br /> The west 199.3 feet of the real property described as follows: <br /> Commencing at a point 158~ feet North and 301-05 feet West of <br /> an iron axle set at the intersection of the center lines of <br /> Fourth Street and Grand Avenue, and running thence North 717.8 <br /> feet; thence West 606.9 feet; thence South 717.8 feet, and <br /> thence East 606.9 feet to the place of beginning, excepting <br /> the southerly 20 feet thereof. <br /> <br /> <br />
