poration outsdie of the corporate limits of t~e City of Santa Ana, and <br />desiring to become a consumer of water supplied by the City of Santa <br />Ana shell first make application to the Water Superintendent for such <br />service, who shall submit the same for approval or rejection to the <br />City Council. If said application is approved, such applicant shall <br />provide, at his own expense, sll necessary piping, and installation, <br />except meters end taps, which shall be furnished and set by the City <br />Water Department, and shall pay for the water furnished to him or them <br />by the City of Santa Aha, et double the rates specified in Section 2 <br />for services inside the City limits. <br /> <br /> The charge for the installation of meters shall be the same as for <br />services inside City Limits. <br /> <br /> All other rules, regulations, sorvice charges, etc. shall apply to <br />these consmmers. <br /> <br /> SECTION 5: APPLICATIONS. All applications for water must be made <br />out on forms provided by the Water Department and must be signed by the <br />applicant. All applicants other than the record ovmers of real property, <br />or their authorized agents, must deposit with the Water Department such <br />sum as is estimated by the Superintendent of the Water Department to be <br />the amount necessary to coyer the charge for one average month of water <br />consumption at location covered by applicalion, which in no case shall <br />be less then $5.00; said deposit to guarantee that all charges for water, <br />service or penalty of any Kind shall be, paid by applicant, unless the <br />record owner of the real property affected sig~ls a written guarantee for <br />the payment of all such items. <br /> <br /> The Superintendent of the Water Department may, where actual month- <br />ly water charges indicate that his original estimate was in error, re- <br />estimate the same and notify applicant of such chamge, making appropriate <br />refund or demand for increased deposit. If an increased deposit be de- <br />manded in writing and the same be not deposited within ten days there- <br />after, the supply of water shall be i~nediately turned off ~nd shall not <br />again be turned on until the additional deposit, together with all out- <br />standing charges including the $1.00 for turning on the water, shall be <br /> <br />-4- <br /> <br /> <br />
