For regulating adjacent buildings on the same property see <br />~ection 504e" <br /> <br /> SECTION S: That Section 1602, Subdivision B, Chapter 16, <br />entitled "Limitations of Types of Consoruction", of the Uniform <br />Building Code, 1946 Edition, as heretofore adopted by Ordinance <br /> <br /> 1180 , is hereby amended to read as folios: <br /> <br /> "Floors over usable spaces, and all walls and partitions shall <br />be not less than one-hour fire-resistive construction, provided, however~ <br />temporary partitions dividing portions of stores, offices, or similar <br />places occupied by one tenant only may be constructed of wood panels or <br />similar light construction up to a height of not to exceed 6' 6"e In <br />no case shall there be less than 2' from the top of the partition to <br />the ceiling immediately above such partitione <br /> <br /> Exterior walls within 20, of adjacent property lines shall be <br />of not less than 4-hour fire-resistive constructione" <br /> <br /> Section 4: That Section 2522, Chapter 25, entitled "Fire <br />Stops", of the Uniform Building Code, 1946 Edition, as heretofore <br />adopted~by Ordinance No. 1180 , be amended by amending Division 2 <br />thereof to read as follows: <br /> <br /> "In all stud walls and partitions, including furred spaces, <br /> <br />so placed that the maximum dimension of any concealed space is not <br /> <br />over eight feet (8')." <br /> <br /> SECTION 8: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of <br /> this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three con- <br /> secutive issue, s of the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, pub- <br /> lished and circulated in the City of Santa Aha. and hereby designated <br /> for that purpose~ <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa ~na at its <br />adjourned regular meeting held on the 295~lday of March, <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> <br />
