RESOLUTION NO. 62-167 ORDERING TRANSFER OF <br />$2,000.00 FROM ORIGINAL SANTA ANA GARDENS SANI- <br />TARY DISTRICT FUNDS TO COUNTY AUDITOR OF ORANGE <br />COUNTY TO APPLY ON DISTRICT BOND REDEMPTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, by annexation all of the territory within <br />the SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT became a part of the CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, and as a result thereof said DISTRICT was dissolved and the <br />balance of cash on hand belonging to said DISTRICT was transferred to <br />the CITY OF SANTA ANA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY has determined that this money should be held <br />in trust and used exclusively for said DISTRICT and that it should be <br />used over a number of years to reduce the tax rate upon properties in <br />the DISTRICT which produced funds for payment of principal and <br />interest on said DISTRICT'S bonds. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the sum of $2,000.00 is <br />hereby ordered to be paid to the County Auditor of Orange County, <br />California, after July 1, 1962, and before September 1, 1962, to be <br />credited to the account for the payment of principal and interest due <br />on the bonds of the former SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT so that <br />the amount necessary to be raised by ad valorem taxation will be <br />reduced for the fiscal year 1962-1963. <br /> <br />Aha at <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE CO~/IL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />its regular meeting held on the 20th day of August, 1962. <br /> <br /> I, N~-w~BOYD , do hereby certify that I am the Assis~an% <br />Clerk of the Council of the City of Santa Ana; that the foregoing <br />Resolution was regularly introduced to said Council at its regular <br />meeting held on the 20th day of August, 1962, and was at said meeting <br />regularly passed and adopted by the following vote, to-wit: <br /> <br />AYES, <br /> <br />COUNCILMEN: Royal E.
