RESOLUTION NO. 6Z-l?l ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE <br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION BUT MAKING <br />IMPROVEMENTS IN CONSIDERATION FOR SAID DEEDS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ~JO~E,..M. RODRIGUEZ a~ nd LI___~__N~::R~ODRIGUE~ have presented <br /> <br />to the City a deed dated July 16, 1962, conveying an easement for <br />street purposes on the North side of Fifth Street, West of Artesia, <br />in consideration of street improvements to be made at said location <br />by the City. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow <br />Number 48069-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana, <br />California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, TH.___E..__UNITED STATES OF AMERICA has presented to the City <br />a deed dated June 11, 1962, conveying an easement for street purposes/~7~ <br />on the South side of Edinger Avenue, East of the Santa Ana River, in <br />consideration of the City's agreement to do the following: <br /> <br /> 1. Move the existing fence to a point back of the new <br /> property line; <br /> <br /> 2. Install 2-inch domestic water service, including meter; <br /> and <br /> <br /> 3. After grantor has removed tank, engine, pump and building <br /> from 12-inch well site, the City will fill and cap the <br /> deep 12-inch well. <br /> <br /> 4. After grantor has connected to 2-inch domestic service <br /> the City will cap grantor's domestic well. <br /> <br />Grantor agrees to connect up to 2-inch domestic service within 30 days <br />after meter is installed and to remove tank, engine, pump and building <br />from 12-inch well site within 60 days after connection has been made <br />to 2-inch domestic service. Said transaction is to be handled through <br />Escrow Number 47943-C with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha, <br />California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
