or the nU~a~ber of men employed or upon the number of <br /> vehicles used or the amount of the maximum admission' ~':~'~ <br /> fee charged or otherwise upon the nature and extent of <br /> any element in the game, business, or building licensed, <br /> the license tax shall then be the same for the new owner <br /> as it was for the original licensee, u~til a new affidavit <br /> of gross business or other similar statement for the pur- <br /> pose of determining the license is filed at the t~aa and <br /> in the manner elsewhere in this 0rdinanceprovided for.' <br /> <br />SECTION 2: That Paragraph 9 of Section 5 of said Ordinance <br />Numbered 658 be and the same is hereby amended to read as follow~: <br /> <br /> 'All licenses <br />be due and payable <br />dividual who shall <br /> <br />specified in this Ordinance shall <br />in advance; and every person or in- <br />carry on, for more than one month <br /> <br />after the first month of cash quarter, any business <br /> <br />or pursuit, for which license is required, whether having <br />previously had a license therefor or not, without having <br />first procured a license therefor, shall be required to <br />pay the regular license herein provided for such business <br />or pursuit, and an additional penalty equal to the amount <br />of said license fee. It shall be the duty of the City <br />Clerk to prepare and deliver to the City Marshal a list <br />of all persons, firms or corporations where payment of <br />license is delinquent more than one month after payment <br />thereof is due in any one quarter; and it shall be the <br />duty of the City Marshal to issue complaint against <br />those persons, firms, or corporations so delinquent more <br />than one month in payment of said license and contained <br />upon lists so furnished by said City Cler~ to said City <br />Marshal.' <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
