demeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punishable by a fine of not more than Five Hundred Dollars or by imprisonment in the County Jail of Orange County, for a period of not more than six months, or by both such fine and imprisonment. Each day during any portion of which, any violation of this Ordinance shall be permitted, continued, or commttted, by any person, firm, or cor- poration, shall constitute a separate offense and shall b'e punish- able as such under the terms of this Ordinance. Section ~: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa Aha Independent, a newspaper print- ed, published and circulated in the City of Santa Aha, and hereby desi~nated for that purpose. This Ordinance shall take effect thirty days from and after its adoption.
