ORDINANOE NO. ~ AN ORDINANCE I[Eim~AT.ING SEOTION 3 OF O~I~OE ~ 7 ~ ~CTION 2 OF O~CE ~ 828 ~ ~0V~ FOR SIGNATU~ OF ~TS ~ C~C~ 0F ~ O~ OF S~A ~ DO O~A~ AS FO~OWS: ~0TI~ 1: Tha~ Section 3 of Ordinance N~ber 7 entitled, "~ 0RD~CE ~OV~G FOR ~ ~CE ~D PA~T OF O~S OR W~TS D~ ON ~ T~ T~" be and the s~e is hereby repealed. ~OTI~ 2: That Section 2 of Ci~y Ordinance N~ber 828, entitled, "~ O~CE OF T~ G~Y 0F S~TA ~A, ESTA~LIS~G A 'PAY-RO~ ACCOST' , ~SGRIB~G T~ S0~CE FROM ~CH ~ 'PAY- RO~ AOCO~' ~AV.V. BE T~ED, ~ DESIG~T~G T~ ~OD OF PA~T OF ~S ~R~O~ as ~nded by City 0rdin~ce N~- bet 889, be and the s~e is hereby repealed. ~CTI~ ~: That all ~rrants, orders, er checks, by whatever n~e ~o~, made by the City of Santa ~a upon the To~ Treasurer for the paint of any money s~ll specify the name of the payee, the date of lssu~ee, the service rende~d on the indebtedness for which i~ is issued and shall bear the name of the City Clerk ~d the President of the Board of Trustees as agents of the maker, City of Santa ~a. ~CTION 4: That the City of S~ta ~a has re~larly elected to have all of its ~rrants sm~ed by facsimile signat~e machine and that hereafter, all watt,ts shall be so signed except where the s~e shall be ~possible by reason of meeh~ical failure, Act of God, or a change l~ perso~el, mak~g necessary the purchase of a new plate to be msed in said machine. When, for any reason, it is ~- possible to use the facs~le signature machine, ~e Treasurer of the City and the banke-~ in the City of Santa Ann shall be notified of that fact amd ~f the dates thereafter, on which long hand si~atmres will of necessity be used.
