0RD~AN~ NO. 1278 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS $ and 5 OF CITY ORDINANCE NO. 1131 i~ROVIDING FOR THE REGISTRATION OF BI~TCLES TEE COUNCI~ OF T~E Ci~T~ OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: SECTI .0~.. ~: That City Ordinance Number 1131 be and the same is hereby amended by amending Section $ thereof, to read as follows: "Section 4. That each and every owner or person in charge or control of a bicycle or bicycles, ex~epting dealers thereof, within the corporate l~mits of the 0ity of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of California, shall, within ninety (90) days from an~ after the let day of January, 1950, and every even numbered year thereafter, register said bicycle with the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ans. The application for registra- tion shall state the name and address of the owner or person in charge or control of such bicycle or bi0yc~es, the make and kind of bicycle, the factory number thereof, the name of the person, firm, corporation or association from whom the same was purchased, and such other description and information relative thereto as may, in the Judgment of the City Clerk of the City of Santa Ann, be necessary and proper for the identification thereof; thereupon, the City Clerk of the City of Santa Aha shall, upon the payment by said applicant of a fee of fifty cents (50¢) for the use and benefit of the City of Santa Ann, issue to such applicant an identification plate having thereon, in raised figures and letters, 'S.A.B.L.", the year, and a serial number, which plate shall be immediately placed and se- cutely attached'by such owner or person in charge or control of such bicycle or bicycles upon the front upright bar of such bicycle, and at or just below the handle bars, or under the seat of such vehicle, so that the sams may be plainly seen, and which plate shall at all times during the current year remain
