ORDINANCE NO. 1249 <br /> <br /> AN ORDLN~NCE OF THE cITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> ESTABLISHING I~ENTAL CHARGES AND REGU- <br /> LATIONS FOR THE USE 0F THE SANTA ANA <br /> MUNICIPAL BOWL. <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: <br /> <br /> That ell use, rental, occupancy and control of that <br />certain property belonging to the City of Santa Aha located <br />upon the West side of Flower Street and between 6th and 8th <br />Streets in said City, known as the Santa Aha Municipal Bowl, <br />which includes the Stadium and the ares surrounding the Sta- <br />dium to the fenced boundary thereof, shell be under the terms, <br /> <br />conditions and provisions of this Ordinance. <br /> SECTION 2: - RENTAL <br /> <br /> (a) That permits for the use of the Santa Aha Municipal <br />Bowl shall be obtained from the office of the Perk Superinten- <br />dent, subject to the approval of the City Council, upon the <br />payment of the minimum rental fee herein provided for, and <br />upon making satisfactory arrangements for the payment of ren- <br />tal charges in accordance with the terms hereof. <br /> <br /> (b) That a minimum rental of $25.00 per day is hereby <br />fixed for any use for which am admission chsrge is to be made <br />or for which any fee or payment is required of the spectators <br />or participants. Said minimum rental shall include only the <br />use of the permanently installed fixtures and equipment and <br />the services regularly furnished. <br /> <br /> (c) That the maximum gross rental for all events shall <br />be ten percent (10%) of the first $1000.00 gross gate receipts, <br />and fifteen percent (15%) of all gross gate receipts in excess <br />of the first $1000.00. An agent of the City shall be allowed <br />access to the records and books of any person or organization <br />using the Bowl, which records shall include copies of any tax <br />returns made by such person or organization.
