0RDIN.~NCE N0.12 52 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINanCE OF Tt~E CITY OF S~nNTA ANA DECL~RING <br /> THE INTENTION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF CERTAIN <br /> STREETS AND ALLEYS WITHIN SAID CITY DESCRIBING <br /> THOSE PORTIONS PROPOSED TO BE VACATED, AND FIXING <br /> THE TIi~E;~N-DPLACE FOR HEARING OF At.L PERSONS IN- <br /> TERESTED IN OR OBJeCTiNG TO THE PROPOSED VACATION. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore after study by the ~lanning Consultant and <br /> <br /> the City Engineer, the vacation and abandonment of those portions of <br /> streets and alleys hereinafter described has been recommended on the <br /> ground that they are unnecessary for present or prospective street <br /> purposes; end <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after study, did and does concur with <br /> <br /> said conclusions and recommendations, and has heretofore Oy Resolution <br /> adopted certain maps for filing in the Clerk's office, graphically show- <br /> ing the parcels herein referred to; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City Council did pass and adopt certain <br /> Resolutions and Ordinances dealing with the abandonment and vacation <br /> <br />~of those parce~ herein referred to as Parcels i through 7, both inclus- <br /> ive, regarding which proceedings there was an insufficient posting of <br /> notice by reason of which such proceedings were not properly completed; and <br /> <br /> NOW, TH~-REF0,RE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ~NTAANA DO ORDAIN <br /> ~FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: The City Council of the City of Santa Ana hereby <br /> declares its intention to proceed with the abandonment and vacation of <br /> said portions of said streets and alleys under the provisions of Part 3, <br /> Division 9 of the Streets and Highways Code, which said Part is known as <br /> the "STREET VACATION ACT OF 1941", Chapter 250, Statutes of 1941, as <br /> amended. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: The City Council of the City of Santa Aha hereby declares <br /> its intention to vacate, abandon, and close up all of those portions of Lowell <br /> <br /> feet, Olive Street, Towner Street, Vance Street, Washington and Poinsettia <br /> Streete and of foGr uh-named alleys hereinbelow descri0ed and as shown on and <br /> in accordance with Official Maps on file in the office of the City Clerk of <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
