Forths City Hall Bonds No. 3 Bonded Indebtedness Fu~d, $,0093 <br />on each $100.00 of the taxable property of sai~ City; <br /> <br /> For the North Main Street Bridge Bonded Indebtedness Fund, <br />$.0025 on each $100.00 of the taxable property of said City; <br /> <br /> For Water Bond No. 4 Fund, $.0037 on each $100.00 of the taxable <br />property of said Oity; <br /> <br /> For North Flower Street Bridge Fund, $.0005 on each $100.00 of <br />the taxable property of said City; <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: The City Clerk is hereby instructed to ~mmediately <br />submit a certified copy of this Ordinance to the County Auditor of <br />Orange County, California. <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: That this City Council, by unanimous vote, does hers- <br />by elect to levy a total tax during the fiscal year of ~uly, 1949 to <br />~une 30, 1950, for all purposes provided in Subdivision 9 of Section <br />$764 of an Act of the Legislature entitled "An Act to Provide f~r the <br />Organisation,'Incorporation and Government of Manicipal Corporations", <br />Statutes of 1883, page 93 as amended, but exclusive of the tax for li- <br />brary, state retirement, recreation, bond, interest and sinking fund <br />purposes, in excess of One Dollar, but not in excess of One Dollar and <br />Twenty-five cents ($1.25) on each One Hundred Dollars of the assessed <br />value of.all real and personal property within the said 01fy of Santa <br />Ama, as set forth in this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> SECTIONS: This Ordinance is urgently required for t~e Immed- <br />iate preservation of public health, peace and safety. The following <br />is a specific statement showing the urgency of this Ordinance: <br /> <br /> That the revauue to be derived from the taxes to be l&vied and <br />collected in accordance with the terms hereof is necessary for the pre- <br />servation of public health, peace and safety; and in order for this Or- <br />dinance to be in effect in time required for this year's tax levy, an <br />,rdihance is now fmmediately required; therefore the City Council de- <br />clares that this Ordinance shall take effect as, and is adopted as, an <br />emergency measure, and be in force from amd after its adoption.. It is <br />provided, however, that in the event the provisions declaring this <br />emergency shall be held to be inva~d for any reason whatsoever, then <br /> <br /> <br />
