ORDINANCE NO. 1268 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE AMENDLNG ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> W~EAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Aha has <br />given notice'of public hearings as required by law in connection with <br />an application to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the properties <br />herein described, and has duly held two public hearings upon the <br />question of such amendment, and thereafter by resolution No. 258, <br />recommended such amendment to the City Council for adoption: and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a <br />public hearing before said body and such.public hearing has been <br />duly and regularly held, and the City Council does now findthat pub- <br />lic necessity requires the following amendment and change in the <br />present classification of certain property hereinafter described <br />and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classification <br />will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. <br /> <br /> NOW, TH,:~EFORE, THE COUNCIL OF TB~ CITY OF SANTA ANA DO <br />0RDAINAS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION l: That sheet No. ll of the Districting Map of the <br />City of Santa Aha of Ordinance No. 107~ be amended to reclassify as <br />C~2 Commercial District all that property now classified as R-~ <br />Residence District which said property is described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning as the intersection of the center line of <br /> East ~irst Street with the northerly extended westerly line <br /> of South Lyon Street; thence southerly along the westerly <br /> line of South Lyon Street, and its northerly extension 160 <br /> feet; thence westerly parallel with the center line of ~ast <br /> First Street, 2~0 feet to the westerly line of Manges and <br /> Crook's Sub.; thence southerly along said westerly line, <br /> 23 feet; thence westerly parallel with the center line of <br /> East First Street, 561 feet; thence northerly parallel with <br /> <br /> <br />
