DEFINING T~ DUTIES OF SAiD C~D.~ISSION: PRO- VID~G FOR T~ SA~RY 0F T~ SECRETLY THEREOF: Ai~ DECL~I~G THE [~CESS~Y 0F S~CH A BODY" ~ ~ended by Ordinance Nmnber 1272, be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: "g. To recommend to the City Council approval, condition- al approval, or disapproval of tentative maps of proposed subdivisions of land. Planning Co~aission as design and improvement The City 0ouncil hereby designates the its gdvisory Agency with respect to the of proposed subdivisions. Every such map or plat shall, prior to its final approval or disapproval by City Council, be submitted to said Commission for action thereon. To do such other thin~s as shall be necessary to carry out the provisions of the Ordinances of Oanta Ann re- lating to said Commission and the provisions of the Conserva- tion and Flanning act, Amendments thereto, or any act sub- stituted therefor." Section 2: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Ordinance and shall cause the same to be published in three consecutive issues of the Santa Ann Independent, a newspaper printed, published, and circulated in the City of Santa ~na, and hereby designated for that purpose. This 0r~inance shall take effect 30 days from and after it is passed, and adopted.
