ORDINANCE NO. 1~14 ORDINANCE ~3~hUDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 107~ V~qEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann did, on July 10, 1950, initiate proceedings to reclassify from the M-2 Manufacturing District to the R-2 Residence District, the real property hereinbelow described and thereafter did give notice of public hearing as required by law in connection with said reclassi- fication, and did duly hold two public hearings upon said question and thereafter by Resolution No. 338 did recommend to the City Council that the City Zoning Ordinance be amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a public hearing before said body and such public hearing has been duly and regularly held, and the City Oouncil does now find that public necessity and convenience and general welfare require the following amendment and change in the present classification of certain property hereinafter described and that the proposed uses under the proposed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding property. NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section l: That Sheet No. 6 of the Districting Map of the City of Santa Ann of Ordinance No. 1074 be amended to reclassify as R-2 Residence District, all that property now classifed as Manufacturing District which said property is described as follows: Parcel l: All of Lot 24, Santa Ann East as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 10, pages 43 and 44, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles County, California, except that portion of said lot described as: Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said Lot 24; thence northerly along_the west line of said lot, 215 feet; thence ~outh 620-55'-00" East, 401.71 feet to the east line of said Lot at a point 29.99 feet northerly along said east line from the south- easterly corner of said lot; thence southerly along said east line, to the southeasterly corner of said lot; thence westerly along the southerly line of said lot to the point of beginning.
