ORDINANCE NO. 1325 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING SET-BACK LINES ON BOTH SIDES <br />OF SANTIAGO AVENUE, FROM WASHINGTON AVEhUJE NORTHkRLY TO <br />THE SOUTHERLY LINE OF THE SANTA ANA FREEWAY <br /> <br />THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section l: That the public peace, health, safety, com- <br />fort, convenience, interest and welfare require and there are <br />hereby established, set-back lines upon and along Santiago Avenue <br />in the City of Oanta Ana, California between which set-back lines <br />and said Santiago Avenue, it shall be unlawful for any person, <br />firm or corporation, to erect any building, wall, fence, or other <br />structure or thing. The set-back lines hereby established are <br />and their location is described as follows: <br /> <br /> A set-back line on each side of Santiago Avenue, <br /> parallel to the center line thereof and dis- <br /> tant at right angles 55 feet from said center <br /> line and extending from the north side of <br /> VCashington Avenue northerly to the southerly <br /> line of the Santa Aha Freeway now under con- <br /> struction or in the process of title acquisi- <br /> tion <br /> <br /> Section 2: The foregoing set-back lines are established <br />after the passing and adoption of Resolution of Intention, Number <br />4077 and a hearing held thereunder after notice by publication and <br />posting in the manner prescribed by Ordinance Number 813 and there <br />having been no written or oral protest filed or presented, and the <br />City Council having called said public hearing and having considered <br /> <br />the matter. <br /> <br /> Section 3: The'Building Xnspector of the City of Santa Ana <br />shall refuse to issue any permit for any building, wall, fence, <br />structure or thing or part thereof, proposed to be erected within <br />the space between Santiago Avenue and the set-back lines herein- <br />above described and established by this Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 4: That any person, firm or corporation violating <br />any provision of this Ordinance shall be deemed guilty of a mis- <br /> <br /> <br />
