property within the said City of Santa Ann, as set forth in this Ordi- <br />nance. <br /> <br /> Section ~: This 0rdinanoe is urgently required for the ~mmedi- <br />ate preservation of public health, peace and safety. The following is <br />a specific statement showing the urgency of this Ordinance: <br /> <br /> That the revenue to be derived from the taxes to be levied and <br />collected in accordance with the terms hereof is necessary for the pre- <br />servation of public health, peace and safety; and in order for this 0r- <br />dinanee to be in effect in time required for this year's tax levy, an <br />Ordinance is now ~mmediately required; therefore, the City Council de- <br />clares that this Ordinance shall take effect as, and is adapted as, an <br />emergency measure and be in force from and after its adoption. It is <br />provided, however, that in the event the provisions declaring this <br />s~ergency shall be held to be invalid for any reason whatsoever, then <br />and in that event this Ordinance shall never-the-less take effect thirty <br />(30) days after the adoption thereof as hereinafter set out and there- <br />after shall be in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Section 6: The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adop- <br />tion of this Ordinance by a vote of five members of the City Council of <br />the City of Santa Ann and shall cause the same to be published three <br />time, in the Santa Aha Register, a newspaper printed, published and cir- <br />culated in the City of Santa ~na and hereby designated for that purpose. <br /> <br />PASSED ANDADO~i'~D by the City Council of the City of Santa Ann <br />as an emergency Ordinance at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of <br /> <br />August, 1951. <br /> <br />ATTEST:~ <br /> CITY CLERK <br /> <br />-5- <br /> <br /> <br />
