based in whole or in pert by yards, shall be erected or estab- <br />lished upon any lot which is so irregularly or oddly shaped as <br />to cause confusion relative to interpretation of such regula- <br />tions until the yard provisions of this Ordinance shall have <br />been determined as set forth above. <br /> <br /> b. The Building Department may make slight modifications <br />to yard provisions in individual cases provided that in each <br />case it shall be found that a special, individual, reason makes <br />the strict letter of the Ordinance impractical and that the <br />modification is in conformity with the spirit and purpose of <br />the yard provisions of this Ordinance. Said Department may <br />require that applications for such modification be made on <br />forms prepared by it for the purpose. <br /> <br /> 4.6 a. Through-lot. At each end of a tkrough lot there <br />shall be a front yard of the depth required by this Ordinance <br />for the district in which the respective street frontage is <br />located; provided, however, that there may be accessory build- <br />ings in one of such front yards in accordance with Paragraph <br />,~ following. <br /> <br /> b. Where a through-lot has e depth of one hundred <br /> <br />and fifty (150) feet or more, said lot may be assumed to be <br />two lots with the rear line of each approximately equidistant <br />from the front lot lines, provided, however, thet'each portion <br />shall then be treated as a separate lot insofar as the provisions <br />of this Ordinance apply, except that the area requirements on <br />such lots may be waived if the through-lot was recorded and held <br />under separate ownership prior to the effective date of said <br />Zoning Ordinance of 1939. <br /> <br /> c. Accessory Buildings on Through Lots. Where a <br />through-lot has a depth of less than one hundred and fifty <br />(150) feet, an accessory building not exceeding one story or <br /> <br />-6- <br /> <br /> <br />
