ORDINANCE NO. 1335 <br />ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1074 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Santa Ann <br /> <br />has given notice of publi~ hearings as required by law in connec- <br />tloa with an application to amend the Zoning Ordinance to cover the <br />properties herein described, and has duly held two public hearings <br />upon the question of such amendment, and thereafter by Resolution <br />Number 395 recommended such amendment to the City Council for adop- <br />tion; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council gave due and regular notice of a <br />public hearing before said body and such public hearing has been duly <br />and regularly held, and the City Council does now find that public <br />necessity and convenience and general welfare require the following <br />amendment and change in the present classification of certain prop- <br />erty hereinafter described end t~at the proposed uses under the pro- <br />posed new classification will not be detrimental to the surrounding <br />property; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA DOES <br />ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Se~ion l: That Sheet No. 2 of the Districting Map of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ann of Ordinance No. 1074 be amended to reclassify all <br />that property now classified as R-1 and R-2 Residential Districts, <br />which said property is described as follows: <br /> <br /> All of Lot k Dresser Tract as shown on a map thereof recorded <br /> in Book 12, page 83, Miscellaneous Records of Los Angeles <br /> County, California, excepting all that portion of said Lot A <br /> lying northeasterly of the following described line: Begin- <br /> ning at the northwesterly corner of Block 14 of Santa Ann East <br /> as shown on a map thereof in Book lC, pages 43 and 44 of said <br /> Miscellaneous RecorAs; thence in a direct line to the southwest <br /> corner of Block G of Nob Hill Tract as shown on a map thereof in <br /> Book 4, page 24, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of Orange County, <br /> California <br /> <br />so that all of said property lying between the center line of Seven- <br />teenth Street and a line parallel thereto and 200 feet south thereof, <br />shall be re-classified as "C" Commercial District and the remainder <br /> <br /> <br />
