RESOLUTION NO. 63-2 OVERRULING THE ZONING <br />ADMINISTRATOR AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND <br />GRANTING VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1695 FILED <br />BY VIRGINIA M. DICKERSON, SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice, the Zoning Adminis- <br />trator denied Variance Application NO. 1695, filed by VIRGINIA M. <br />DICKERSON to establish a commercial beauty facility in an R-2 <br />District at 1049 West McFadden Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission affirmed the denial of said <br />Variance Application by the Zoning Administrator; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 76 was duly filed by the <br />applicant requesting a hearing on said Variance Application before <br />the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council, after public hearing on notice, has <br />determined that the Zoning Administrator and the Planning Commission <br />should be overruled and that said Variance should be granted subject <br />to certain conditions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br /> <br />City of Santa Ana hereby grants a Variance on Variance Application <br /> <br />No. 1695 to permit the property located at 1049 West McFadden Avenue <br /> <br />in the City of Santa AAa, County of Orange, State of California, <br /> <br />described as: <br /> <br />Lot No. 1 of Tract No. 471 as per map recorded in <br />Book 16, Page 44, of Miscellaneous Map Records of <br />said Orange County, <br /> <br />in an R-2 District, to be used for the establishment of a commercial <br /> <br />beauty facility. Said Variance is granted subject to certain <br /> <br />conditions, <br /> 1. <br /> <br />as follows: <br /> <br />'l~at an easement be provided for McFadden Avenue for <br />a width of 42 feet, center line to property line, <br />including a 25 foot radius at Shelton Street for street <br />purposes and vehicular access rights except at street <br />intersections, prior to the issuance of a business <br />license. NOTE: Access can be determined and approved <br />prior to dedication. <br /> <br />That applicant shall provide off-street parking at such <br />time as parking restrictions are imposed on McFadden <br />Avenue. <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
