RESOLUTION NO. 63-14 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE <br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM I. MILLER has presented to the City a deed <br />dated January 14, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes <br />at the Northwest corner of Grand Avenue and Warner Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, L. DORIS CHAPMAN has presented to the City a deed <br />dated January 11, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes <br />on the East side of Bristol Street, North of Warner Avenue; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, CHARLES E. M. SCHNEIDER and MARGARET M. SCHNEIDER <br />have presented to the City a deed dated January 5, 1963, conveying <br />an easement for street purposes on the South side of Edinger Avenue <br />between Raitt and Bristol Streets; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, MICHAEL KRAGIE and BEA KRAGIE have presented to the <br />City a deed dated January 7, 1963, conveying an easement for street <br />purposes on the South side of Camille Street, East of Jackson Street; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM L. SCHOOLING and LENA ANN SCHOOLING have <br />presented to the City a deed dated January 7, 1963, conveying an <br />easement for street purposes on Toland Street, North of Kent Avenue; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, LOCAL #582 OF SANTA ANA, CALIFORNIA OF THE UNITED <br />ASSOCIATION OF JOURNEYMEN AND APPRENTICES OF THE PLUMBING AND PIPE- <br />FITTING INDUSTRY OF UNITED STATES AND CANADA has presented to the <br />City a deed dated January 14, 1963, conveying an easement for street <br />purposes on the South side of Bolsa Avenue, West of Harbor Boulevard; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, RAILWAY EXPRESS AGENCY, INCORPORATED, a corporation, <br />has presented to the city a deed dated December 31, 1962, conveying <br />an easement for street purposes on the South side of Seventeenth <br />Street, West of Clinton Street; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, SANTA ANA SCHOOL DISTRICT OF ORANGE COUNTY has pre- <br />sented to the City a deed dated January 9, 1963, conveying easements <br />for street purposes on the South side of Seventeenth Street, West of <br />Ross Street, without cash consideration being paid to said grantor, <br />but in consideration of the agreement hereby made that the City will <br />pay all costs of constructing new curb and gutter, sidewalk and <br />paving at ultimate location at such time as the street is widened by <br />the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration <br />being paid to said grantors by the City. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Aha <br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent, <br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of January, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
