RESOLUTION NO. 63-20 ORDERING THE VACATION OF <br />AN UNNAMED ALLEY BETWEEN MAIN AND BUSH STREETS, <br />NORTH OF TWENTIETH STREET, AND RESERVING PUBLIC <br />UTILITY EASEMENTS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on December 17, 1962, the City Council adopted <br />Resolution No. 62-236 declaring intention to vacate the unnamed <br />alley herein described and to reserve therein public utility <br />easements; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 21st, 1963, a public hearing was duly <br />held on said question of alley vacation on posted notices and the <br />publication of said Resolution No. 62-236. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />finds that the unnamed alley herein described is unnecessary for <br />present or prospective street purposes and hereby makes its order <br />vacating and abandoning for street purposes that certain unnamed <br />alley in the City of Santa Ana, California, described as: <br /> <br />An unnamed alley, 14.75 feet in width, located between <br />Lots 1 and 2 of the Phelps subdivision North of Twentieth <br />Street, bounded on the East by the Northerly extension of <br />the East line of said Lot 2 and bounded on the West by a <br />line parallel to and 45 feet East, measured at right angles, <br />from the surveyed center line of Main Street. <br /> <br />RESERVING AND EXCEPTING from said vacation a permanent easements for <br />the use of Southern California Edison Company and the City of Santa <br />Ana for public utility structures and installations, to maintain a <br />12 KV feeder line, poles, cables, conduits and other facilities for <br />the transmission of electrical energy, and underground pipes, man <br />holes and other facilities for water and sanitary sewer purposes, <br />together with the right to repair, maintain, inspect, operate, recon- <br />struct said facilities in all parts of said vacated area. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That before the surface area of said <br />alley may be used for parking, maneuvering or other non-permanent <br />surface use, the alley drive approaches at both Main and Bush Streets <br />shall be removed and standard curb, gutter and sidewalks constructed <br />across the entrances. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 21st day of January, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />MAYO~ .......... <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
