RESOLUTION NO. 63-38 ENLARGING AND REESTABLISHING <br />AN AREA IN WHICH SANTA ANA CITY EMPLOYEES ARE <br />REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN THEIR RESIDENCE <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 2202 of the Santa Ana Municipal Code requires <br />that all City employees live within the City or such areas bordering <br />the City as shall be designated by resolution of the City Council, <br />and under authority of such Section, Resolution No. 58-57 was adopted <br />February 17, 1958; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after study, the Personnel Board of the City has <br />recommended to the City Council an enlargement of the residential <br />area and certain other changes as hereinbelow set out. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That Resolution No. 58-57 is <br />hereby rescinded and that all employees of the City of Santa Ana, <br />excepting Probationary employees, shall establish and maintain <br />residence within the City of Santa Ana as it now exists or as its <br />boundaries may hereafter be altered, or within the area the exterior <br />boundaries of which are next hereinbelow set out, all within the <br />County of Orange, State of California, as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the intersection of the Southwesterly prolongation <br />of 23rd Street and the Pacific Ocean in Huntington Beach; <br /> <br />thence, <br />thence, <br />thence, <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br />thence <br /> <br />Northeasterly along 23rd Street to Golden West; <br />North along Golden West to Garfield Street; <br />West along Garfield Street to Edwards Street; <br />North along Edwards Street to Edinger Avenue; <br />West along Edinger Avenue to Bolsa Chica Road; <br />North along Bolsa Chica Road to Garden Grove Boulevard; <br />East along Garden Grove Boulevard to Knott Avenue; <br />North along Knott Avenue to Cerritos Boulevard; <br />East along Cerritos Boulevard to Beach Boulevard; <br />North along Beach Boulevard to LaPalma Avenue; <br />East along LaPalma Avenue to Dale Street; <br />North along Dale Street to Commonwealth Avenue; <br />East along Commonwealth Avenue to Broo~hurst Street; <br />North along Brookhurst Street to Chapman Avenue; <br />East along Chapman Avenue to Placentia Avenue; <br />Northeasterly along Placentia Avenue to Palm Avenue; <br />Southeasterly along Palm Avenue to Linda Vista; <br />South along Linda Vista to Morse Avenue; <br />Easterly along Morse Avenue to Imperial Highway; <br />Southeasterly and Southerly along Imperial Highway <br /> <br />to Santa Aha Canyon Road; <br />thence, Northeasterly along Santa Ana Canyon Road to the <br />Northerly prolongation of the Westerly line of Section 6, <br />Township 4 South, Range 8 West; <br />thence, South along the Northerly prolongation of Section 6 <br />and along the West line of Range 8 West to the Santiago Creek; <br />thence, along the Santiago Creek to the Santiago Reservoir; <br />thence, along the Westerly shore line of the Santiago <br />Reservoir to Santiago Canyon Road; <br />thence, Southeasterly along Santiago Canyon Road to the <br />Northwesterly line of Block 116 of the Irvine Subdivision; <br />thence, Southwesterly along the Northwesterly lines of Blocks <br />116, 117, 118, 119, 120 of the Irvine Subdivision to <br />Irvine Boulevard; <br />thence, Southeasterly along Irvine Boulevard to the South- <br />easterly line of Block 121 of the Irvine Subdivision; <br />thence, Southwesterly along the Southeasterly lines of <br />Blocks 121, 122, 123, 124, 125, 126 of the Irvine Subdivision <br />to the Southerly corner of Block 126 of the Irvine Subdivision; <br />thence, Northwesterly along the Southwesterly line of Block <br />126 of the Irvine Subdivision to the Southerly corner of <br />Block 100 of the Irvine Subdivision; <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
