RESOLUTION NO. 63-42 DECLARING THAT A MAJORITY <br />PROTEST HAS BEEN MADE AGAINST ANNEMATION OF <br />TERRITORY UNDER THE NAME OF "HARBOR AND EDINGER <br />EAST ANNEXATION" <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at the regular meeting of the City Council held on <br />March 4, 1963, the protest hearing against an election to vote on <br />the question of annexation and against the annexation of territory <br />under the name of "HARBOR AND EDINGER EAST ANNEXATION" was regularly <br />held on mailed notices to all owners of property within the terri- <br />tory and on publication of Resolution No. 63-25. At said hearing <br />one individual protest was filed and one petition of protest was <br />filed against said election and annexation. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council finds <br />and declares, after examination of said protests, that the owners <br />of 66.4~ of the real property within the territory proposed to be <br />annexed have indicated their opposition to said election and <br />annexation, and therefore declares that a majority protest against <br />the annexation of said territory described in Resolution No. 63-25 <br />under the Annexation Act of 1913 has been made and that further <br />proceedings shall not be taken. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 4th day of March, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
