In Re <br />Minutes <br />Joint Outfall <br />Sewer <br /> <br />In Re <br />Taxicab <br />Applications <br /> <br />In Re <br />Extend ti~e <br />limit - Peerless <br />Concrete Pipe Corp. <br /> <br />In Re <br />Warrants <br /> <br />In Re <br />Lease extension <br />Ed Marley <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication to <br />City of Newport <br />Beach -(Joint <br />Outfall S~wer) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Map Tract <br />No. 1458 <br /> <br />In Re <br />Map Tract <br />No. 1562 <br /> (Lincoln and <br />Santa Clara) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Intention to <br />annex two parcels <br />of property - <br />S.E. section <br /> <br /> On motion of T~uetee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the <br /> <br /> Minutes of the Joint 0utfall Sewer Executive Board-meetings held at <br /> <br /> Anaheim, December l~ and December 20, 1951, were received and filed. <br /> . <br /> On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the <br /> applications of Robert Robinette, Leo Uffman and Nary Huson to drive <br /> <br /> taxicabs, were received and permits granted. <br /> # <br /> <br /> On recommendation of the City Engineer and on motion of Trustee Jerome <br /> seconded by Dahl and carried, The Peerless Concrete Pipe Corporation <br /> was g~anted an extension of fifteen working days on the time limit <br /> to complete contract~ covering construction of a sanitary sewer on <br /> <br /> Myrtle and Pacific Streets. <br /> # <br /> On motion of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, the demands <br /> as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk authorized <br /> <br /> to issue warrants covering demands. <br /> # <br /> <br /> It was moved by T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, that <br /> Ed Marley be granted a further extension of lease dated February l, <br /> 1951, on a month to month basis, covering the storing of wood and <br /> <br /> stumps on city owned property along the Santa Ana River, and that the <br />matter be placed under the Jurisdiction of the City Administrator with <br /> <br /> the power to act for the City in all respects thereto. <br /> # <br /> <br /> Communication was read notifying the City of Newport Beach that their <br /> contract with the Joint Outfall Sewe~ expires January 5, 1952 and <br /> setting forth provisions for a r6newal of contract to enable the <br /> <br /> Joint Outfall S~wer to continue to handle the sewage of Newport Beach. <br /> On motion~of T~ustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and ca-tied, the <br /> communication was approved and Mayor instructed to sign same when the <br /> percentage is agreed upon. <br /> <br /> On motion of Trustee Dahl, s~conded by Jerome and carried~ Map Tract <br /> No. 1448, submitted by Chadron M. Harwood, for the dedication of Towne~ <br /> Street and Adele Place, was approved. On motion of Trusts% Hunter, <br /> seconded by Jerome and carried, action approving Map Tract No. 1548 <br /> was rescinded. On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and <br /> carried, Map Tract No. 1448 was approved subject to condition that <br /> <br /> 16th Street be shown instead of Adele Place, and proper officials <br /> <br /> authorized to sign map, when street name has been corrected. <br /> ,, <br /> On motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Jerome and carried, Map Tract <br /> No. 1562 covering improvements of Linc~l~ Street, 'San~a Clara Avenue, <br /> La~ehmont, Aspen, BeechwOod and Cherry Streets was approved, bond file~ <br /> by Baker Development Company in the amount cf $27,000.00 accepted and <br /> officials authorized to sign map. <br /> <br /> 'On ~recommenda~ion o5 the Administrator and on motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> seconded by Hunter and carried, 'the Orange County Boundary Commission <br /> is to be notified that the City of Santa Ana proposes and intends to <br /> annex approximatelY two acres of real property contiguous to the City <br /> of Santa Ana; one parcel of land being occupied by Cherry-Rivet Compan: <br /> 'and one parcel of uninhabited ~Property and described as: A parcel of <br /> land bounded on the north by Delhi Road, on the west by the east line <br /> <br /> <br />
