RESOLUTION NO. 63-64 RESCINDING PROTEST TO <br />RELINQUISHMENT OF TUSTIN AVENUE IN SANTA ANA <br />BY STATE HIGHWAY COMMISSION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on January 7, 1963, the City Council of the City of <br />Santa Ana adopted Resolution No. 63-8 declaring its objection to <br />the California State Highway Ccmmutssion relinquishing portions of <br />superceded State Highway, VII-ORA-43-SA, which were parts of Tustin <br />Avenue, because said portions contained intersections which were <br />considered unsafe and without traffic control lights; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an Agreement has now been entered into for the <br />signalization of said areas and the reason for the protest has ceased <br />to exist. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF SANTA ANA: That said Council hereby withdraws its official protest <br />adopted by its Resolution No. 63-8 and its objection to the relin- <br />quishment of two portions of Tustin Avenue as State Highway and <br />hereby rescinds said Resolution No. 63-8. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) SS <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
