RESOLUTION NO. 63-70 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE
<br />THE CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JAMES A. LUKENS and FLORENCE B. LUKENS have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated April 18th, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />water main purposes South of Edinger Avenue, West of Bristol Street:
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, NEALDOWMINTER, also known as NEAL D. MINTER, and
<br />ESTHER L. MINTER have presented to the City a deed dated April 29,
<br />1963, conveying an easement for constructing and maintaining drainage
<br />facilities North of Memory Lane, East of the Santa Ana River; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RICHARD F. FEATHERSTONE, JEANNE B. FEATHERSTONE,
<br />DONALD G. MUNSON, IRENE E. MUNSON, JAMES F. HALL, MARJORIE O. HALL,
<br />ROBERT C. PEARSON and DARLENE M. PEARSON have presented to the City
<br /> a deed dated March 27, 1963, conveying an easement for sanitary
<br /> sewer purposes 788 feet South of Santa Clara Avenue, running West
<br /> fro~ Tustin Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ST. GERTRUDE GARDENS, a partnership, has presented
<br />to the city a deed dated April 8, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the East side of Pacific Avenue at Anahurst Place;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JACK A. EISEN and MARY E. EISEN have presented to
<br />the City a deed dated April 15, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes at the Southeast corner of Regent Drive and Newhope
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JUSTINE REALTY COMPANY, a Missouri corporation, has
<br />presented to the City a deed dated April 9, 1963, conveying vehicular
<br />accessrXights to Fairview Street,South of Talbert Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LOUIS NORMAN has presented to the City a deed dated
<br />April 26, 1963, conveying an easement for street and public utility
<br />purposes on the South side of Roosevelt Avenue, 200 feet West of
<br />Euclid Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JOHN H. GROSS and MARGARET L. GROSS have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated .May. 2nd, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes at the Southwest corner of McFadden Avenue and
<br />Harbor Boulevard; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE FIRST CHURCH OF GOD OF SANTA ANA, CALIFOREIA,
<br />a California corporation, has presented to the City aQuitclaim deed
<br />quitclaiming to the City a parcel of real property North of Posey
<br />Street, West of Newhope Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his certificate of acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 6th day of May, 1963.
