RESOLUTION NO. 63-72 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM DEEDS AND ONE GRANT DEED BY THE CITY WHEREAS~ heretofore the owners of certain property on the East side of Artesia Street, North of Ninth Street, ~edicafied to ~1%e City of Santa Ana an easement for street purposes at said location, and it has been determined that said easement is no longer of use to the City for said purpose and should be returned to the adjacent property owners; and WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located on the South side of Seventeenth Street at Old Tustin Avenue dedicated to the City of Santa Ana all vehicular access rights at said location and the present owners, CARL J. KLATT and LENA A. KLATT have nOw requested driveway~location across said area and the City has deter- mined to grant the same; and WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain real property located on the South side of Fifth Street, West of Fairview Street, and on the West side of Fairview Street, South of Fifth Street, dedicated to the City of Santa Ana all vehicular access rights at said location and the present owner, ~OODWILL INDUSTRIES OF ORANGE COUNTY, has now requested driveway locations across said areas and the City has determined to grant the same; and WHEREAS, the SO~£~ERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY has requested an easement for the relocation of their facilities within the new parking lot site on the South side of Fifth Street, between Bush and Spurgeon Streets, and the City has determined to grant the same. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quit- claiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE UNDERLYING FEE, AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTEREST MAY APPEAR OF RECORD that real property located on the East side of Artesia Street, North of Ninth Street, described as: Lot "C" in Tract No. 521 as shown on a map thereof recorded in Book 23, page 3, Miscellaneous Maps, Records of said Orange County. .EXCEPTING THEREFROM the South 15.00 feet of the North 35.00 feet. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quitclaiming to CARL J. KLATT and LENA A. KLATT vehicular access rights on the South side of Seventeenth Street at Old Tustin Avenue, and to deliver the same to said owners. BE IT FUR~ER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a quitclaim deed quitclaiming to GOODWILL INDUSTRIES OF ORANGE COUNTY vehicular access rights on the South side of Fifth Street, West of Fairview Street, and on the West side of Fairview Street, South of Fifth Street, and to deliver the same to said owner. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the Council are hereby directed to execute a grant deed to SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA EDISON COMPANY granting an easement for the relocation of their facilities within the new parking lot site on the South side of Fifth Street, between Bush and Spurgeon Streets, and deliver the same to said owner.
