RESOLUTION NO. 63-85 ORDERING TP~NSFER OF <br />$1,619.33, THE ENTIRE BALANCE, FROM THE <br />ORIGINAL SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT <br />FUNDS TO COUNTY AUDITOR OF OBANGE COUNTY TO <br />APPLY ON DISTRICT BOND REDEMPTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, by annexation all of the territory within <br />the SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT became a part of the CITY OF <br />SANTA ANA, and as a result thereof said DISTRICT was dissolved and <br />the balance of cash on hand belonging to said DISTRICT was trans- <br />ferred to the CITY OF SANTA ANA; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY has determined that this money should be <br />held in trust and used exclusively for said DISTRICT and that it <br />should be used over a number of years to reduce the tax rate upon <br />properties in the DISTRICT which produced funds for payment of <br />principal and interest on said DISTRICT'S bonds. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the entire balance of <br />the cash originally transferred to the CITY OF SANTA ANAby the <br />SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT, the sam of $1,619.33, is hereby <br />ordered to be paid to the County Auditor of Orange County, California, <br />after July 1, 1963, and before September 1, 1963, to be credited to <br />the account for the payment of principal and interest due on the <br />bonds of the former SANTA ANA GARDENS SANITARY DISTRICT so that the <br />amount necessary to be raised by ad valore~ taxation from property <br />within the boundaries of said DISTRICT will be reduced for the <br />fiscal year 1963-1964. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of May, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
