RESOLUTION 63-86 DENYING APPEAL APPLICATION <br />NO. 81 FILED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS FROM VARIANCE APPLICATION NO. 1754 <br />FILED BY ELKS BUILDING ASSOCIATION AND GRANTED <br />BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing, the Planning Commission granted <br />Variance Application No. 1754 filed by ELKS BUILDING ASSOCIATION <br />to permit the construction of a motor hotel, restaurant, office <br />and shop complex at 212 South Maybury Street in an R-3 District <br />subject to certain conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 81 was duly filed with the <br />City Council by the Department of Public Works appealing the <br />granting of said Variance by the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing before the City Council At has been <br />determined that said Appeal Application should be denied, but that <br />a portion of one condition should be deleted and one other condition <br />should be deleted from Item 3 and added to Item 5. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council hereby <br />denied Appeal Application No. 81, but orders certain changes in the <br />conditions attached thereto, as follows: <br /> <br />That Item No. 3e. under conditions be modified to read <br />that the subdivider submit street improvement plans for <br />Lyon Street; <br /> <br />That Item No. 3d. under conditions be deleted from <br />Item No. 3 and added to Item No. 5a. of conditions <br />of the granting of this Variance. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 20th day of May, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
