RESOLUTION 63-87 APPROVING MAP AND DECLARING <br />INTENTION TO VACATE A 30-FOOT STREET EASEMENT <br />LOCATED BETWEEN FAIRVIEW AND SULLIVAN STREETS, <br />NORTH OF McFADDEN AVENUE, AND GIVING NOTICE <br />OF PUBLIC HEARING THEREON <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works and the Planning <br />Commission have rec~,~,,ended, vagation of this street right of way. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the map attached hereto <br />marked "Exhibit A" is hereby approved and ordered filed with and as <br />a part of this Resolution in the office of the Clerk of the Council, <br />and the City Council hereby declares its intention to vacate and <br />abandon that certain street right of way in the City of Santa Ana, <br />County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />A 30-foot wide easement for street purposes North of <br />McFadden Avenue running between Fairview and Sullivan <br />Streets as granted by deed recorded August 18, 1908, <br />in Book 159, Page 90 of Deeds of said Orange County. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the hour of 7:30 P.M., June 3, <br />1963, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Third and Main Streets, <br />Santa Ana, California, is the time and place fixed for hearing all <br />persons interested in or objecting to this proposed street vacation, <br />The City Council declares its intention to proceed with this street <br />vacation under the provisions of the Street Vacation Act of 1941 <br />(Sections 8300 through 8374 of the California Streets and Highways <br />Code). <br /> <br /> The Clerk of the council is ordered to publish this Resolution <br />in the manner prescribed by law for the publication of ordinances of <br />the City, and the Director of Public Works is ordered to post notices <br />of street vacation conspicuously along the line of said street, <br />stating the passage of this Resolution of intention and the time and <br />place of hearing thereon.. Said notices shall be posted not more <br />than 300 feet apart and at least three shall be so posted.
