RESOLUTION 63-89 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CALVARY CHURCH OF SANTA ANA, INCORPORATED, has
<br />presented to the City a deed dated May 3, 1963, conveying easements
<br />for street purposes on the West side of Tustin Avenue, North of
<br />Fruit Street, and on the North side of Fruit Street, West of Tustin
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RAND DEVELOPMENT CO. INC. has presented to the City
<br />a deed dated May 8, 1963, conveying easements for street purposes
<br />on the North side of Central Avenue, East of Bristol Street, and on
<br />the East side of Bristol Street, North of Central Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ROBERT G. HOLCOMB and MAURINE T. HOLCOMB have
<br />presented to the City a deed dated May 9, 1963, conveying an easement
<br />for street purposes on the North side of First Street, West of
<br />Tustin Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, FRANKLIN P. NICKEY, JR. and BEVERLY NICKEY have
<br />presented to the City a deed dated May 13, 1963, conveying an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes at the Northwest corner of Oak and Myrtle
<br />Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SHELDON CHASIN and NORMA LEE CHASIN have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated April 30, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the South side of Warner Avenue, West of Orange
<br />Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EDWARD T. HAMMER and MAXINE A. HAMMER have presented
<br />to the city a deed dated April 30, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the South side of Edinger Avenue at Rene Drive;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THRIFTIMART, INC. has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated April 30, 1963, conveying an easement for water main purposes
<br />on the West side of Bristol Street, South of Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THOMAS F. HINDS has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated April 30, 1963, conveying an easement for water main purposes
<br />West of Bristol Street, South of Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular council meeting held on the 20th day of May, 1963.
