Description of Work - In the space below, describe the program to be funded during the 12-month contract period. What specific activities will be undertaken during the contract period. We will provide flexible and individualized financial assistance that supports Santa Ana residents on a progressive path toward permanent housing and stability. We will implement a progressive assistance approach, with participants progressively taking on an increased portion of responsibility for expenses. The amount and duration of rental assistance will be determined based on each client's unique financial situation. As a general guideline, we will provide 100% rental assistance when clients first enroll in the program, allowing them to stabilize their finances, save, and plan. Overthe course of six months, the amount of rental assistance will be scaled back incrementally- 70%, 50%, and 30%ofthe total rent due. Our approach allows clients to prepare and progressively adjust to paying the full rent on their own. Each client's circumstance and ability to pay will be reassessed on a continual basis, and the program will employ flexibility to keep residents stably housed. We have extensive experience managing and disbursing financial assistance in housing -based programs and currently manage rental payments for more than 200 households enrolled in our housing programs.
