and location of event or services should be included in the Description of Operations <br />section of each certificate. <br />(3) Acceptability of Insurers <br />Insurance is to be placed with insurers authorized to conduct business in the State <br />of California with a current A.M. Best rating of no less than A: VII, unless otherwise <br />acceptable to the CITY. <br />(4) Verification of Coverage <br />SUBRECIPIENT shall furnish the CITY with original Certificates of Insurance <br />including all required amendatory endorsements (or copies of the applicable policy <br />language effecting coverage required by this clause) and a copy of the Declarations and <br />Endorsement Page of the CGL policy listing all policy endorsements to CITY before <br />work begins. However, failure to obtain the required documents prior to the work <br />beginning shall not waive SUBRECIPIENT's obligation to provide them. The CITY <br />reserves the right to require complete, certified copies of all required insurance policies, <br />including endorsements affecting the coverage required by these specifications, at any <br />time. <br />(5) Special Events Coverage for Instructors <br />Special events coverage is available and can be purchased by SUBRECPIENT. <br />Use this link to learn more: https://2sparta.com/index.php?p=selip <br />(6) Special Risks or Circumstances <br />CITY reserves the right to modify these requirements, including limits, based on <br />the nature of the risk, prior experience, insurer, coverage, or other special circumstances. <br />K. Zoning. <br />The SUBRECIPIENT agrees that any facility/property used in furtherance of said <br />program shall be specifically zoned and permitted for such use(s) and activity(ies). Should the <br />SUBRECIPIENT fail to have the required land entitlement and/or permits, thus violating any <br />local, state, or federal rules and regulations relating thereto, the SUBRECIPIENT shall <br />immediately make good -faith efforts to gain compliance with local, state, or federal rules and <br />regulations following written notification of said violation(s) from the CITY or other authorized <br />citing agency. The SUBRECIPIENT shall notify the CITY immediately of any pending <br />violations. Failure to notify the CITY of pending violations, or to remedy such known <br />violation(s), shall result in termination of grant funding hereunder. The SUBRECIPIENT must <br />make all corrections required to bring the facility/property into compliance with the law within <br />sixty (60) days of notification of the violation(s); failure to gain compliance within such time <br />shall result in termination of grant funding hereunder. <br />L. Displacement and Relocation. <br />The SUBRECIPIENT must assure that it has taken all reasonable steps to minimize <br />displacement of persons. Relocation must be consistent with requirements as set forth in 24 CFR <br />§ 576.408. <br />Page 9 of 23 <br />
