RESOLUTION 63-90 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING A CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HERBERT M. CARQUEVILLE and EDITH O. CARQUEVILLE
<br />have presented to the City a deed dated May 10, 1963, conveying
<br />two parcels of real property on the North side of Alton Street,
<br />West of Halladay Street, in consideration of the payment of
<br />$5,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled through Escrow No.
<br />4932-RB with United Title Guaranty Company, Santa Aha, California.
<br />The City agrees to construct curbs, gutters and pavement upon said
<br />property within 12 months after close of escrow; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, PACIFIC SOUTHWEST REALTY COMPANY, a Delaware
<br />Corporation, has presented to the City a deed dated April 30, 1963,
<br />conveying real property on the West side of Bush Street, South of
<br />Third Street, in consideration of the payment of $52,800.00. Said
<br />transaction is to be handled through Escrow No. 68-1229 with Security
<br />First National Bank, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, JEWETT C. NORRIS and SERITHA F. NORRIS have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated May 9, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the South side of Edinger Avenue, West of Ross
<br />Street, in consideration of the payment of $55.00. Said transaction
<br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 49635~K with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, CLARENCE W. BAUM and GLADYS E. BAUMhave presented
<br />to the City a deed dated May 9, 1963, conveying a parcel of real
<br />property on the North side of First Street, East of Santa Fe Street,
<br />in consideration of the payment of $74,000.00. Said transaction is
<br />to be handled through Escrow No. 49614-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, HAZEL M. SEIBEL has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated May 9, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on the
<br />South side of Edinger Avenue, East of Ross Street, in consideration
<br />of the payment of $55.00. Said Transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 49636-K with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, STEVE VALENCIA and EVANGELINE VALENCIA have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated May 9, 1963, conveying a parcel of real
<br />property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, East of Parton Street,
<br />in consideration of the payment of $22,000.00. Said transaction is
<br />to be handled through Escrow No. 49611-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ERNEST F. KAHLERT has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated May 2, 1963, conveying a parcel of real property on the North
<br />side of Edinger Avenue, East of Van Ness Avenue, in consideration
<br />of thepayment of $13,000.00. Said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow No. 49581-C with Security Title Insurance Company,
<br />Santa An a, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WILLIAM H. ANDREWS and MARY W. ANDREWS have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated May 2, 1963, conveying a parcel of real
<br />property on the North side of Edinger Avenue, East of Garnsey Street,
<br />in consideration of the payment of $15,000.00. Said transaction
<br />is to be handled through Escrow No. 49561-C with Security Title
<br />Insurance Company, Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, EVERETT MARKUMhas presented to the City a deed dated
<br />May 13, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on the South
<br />side of Edinger Avenue, East of Van Ness Avenue, in consideration of
<br />the payment of $115.00. Said transaction is to be handled through
<br />Escrow No. 49637-K with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Ana,
<br />California; and
