RESOLUTION 63-121 ACCE~TING A DEED FROM LOTTIE <br />M. LAYTON IN EXCHANGE FOR A QUITCLAIM DEED FROM <br />THE CITY AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF QUITCLAIM <br />DEEDS BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore, the owners of certain property located <br />on the Northeast corner of Bristol and Brook Streets dedicated to <br />the City of Santa Ana vehicular access rights to Bristol Street; <br />and the present owners have now requested driveway locations across <br />said area and the City has determined to grant the same; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, LOTTIE M. LAYTON has presented to the City a grant <br />deed dated June 13, 1963, granting property for street easement on <br />the East side of Main Street, North of Edinger Avenue, in exchange <br />for certain adjacent City property which the City proposes to <br />quitclaim to her.(EscrowNo.49477-C, Security Title Insurance Co.) <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed quitclaiming IN SEVERALTY TO THE VARIOUS OWNERS OF THE <br />UNDERLYING FEE AS THEIR RESPECTIVE INTERESTS MAY APPEAR OF RECORD <br />vehicular access rights to Bristol Street, East of Brook Street, <br />and deliver the same to the Clerk of the Council. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the City accepts said grant <br />deed from LOTTIE M. LAYTON, and Carl J. Thornton, the City's <br />designated agent, is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance <br />on said deed. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the Clerk of the <br />Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute a quitclaim <br />deed to LOTTIE M.
