RESOLUTION 63-133 ACCEPTING DEEDS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ERNEST W. STENLUND and ELLEN B. STENLUND have
<br />presented to the City a deed dated July 18, 1963, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes at the Southeast corner of Trask
<br />Avenue and Fairview Street; said transaction is to be handled
<br />through Escrow No. 50025-K with Security Title Insurance Company,
<br />Santa Aha, California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WAP~EN C. COLEMAN and DOROTHY V. COLEMAN have
<br />presented to the City a deed dated July 3, 1963, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on the East side of South Main Street,
<br />South of Alton Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THE FIRST METHODIST CHURCH OF SANTA ANA has presented
<br />to the City a deed dated July 18, 1963, conveying easements for
<br />street purposes at the northeast corner of Sixth and Spurgeon Streets
<br />and at the northwest corner of Sixth and French Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA BROKERS ASSOCIATION, doing
<br />business as LAUGHLIN, FOWLER & CO., a corporation, has presented to
<br />the City a deed dated July 11, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on the south side of Washington Avenue at Garnsey
<br />Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, LESTER M. GUSS and ELAYNE M. GUSS have presented to
<br />the City a deed dated July 16, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />street purposes on Maxine Street, 112 feet south of Ballast Avenue;
<br />and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, RALPH CRUTCHFIELD and GENEVIEVE P. CRUTCHFIELDhave
<br />presented to the City a deed dated July 16, 1963, conveying an
<br />easement for street purposes on Maxine Street, 180 feet south of
<br />Ballast Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, H. & J. MABURY COMPANY, a corporation, has presented
<br />to the City a deed dated July 22, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />water main purposes on the north side of First Street, east of the
<br />Newport Freeway; said transaction is to be handled lthrough
<br />Escrow No. 49971-K with Security Title Insurance Company, Santa Aha,
<br />California; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting on the 5th day of 1963.
