Musick requesting that either <br /> <br />a loading zone or a ten to twenty minute zone be established at 811 <br />South Main Street. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl an~ <br />carried, the request was referred to the Administrator, City Engineer <br />and Ohief of Police for report and that report be made on all similar i <br />requests which have been pending. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Donald B. Todd, 1952 Fund Chairman, <br />American National Red Cress expressing thanks for the response of the. <br />City Employees to the call for Red Cross support and on motion of <br /> <br />the matter <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />A~thur M. Bradley <br /> (St. Joseph's School) <br />Improv. Rt.of way <br /> <br />Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the communication was <br /> <br />received and filed. <br /># <br />On recommendation of the committee and on motion of Trustee Dahl, <br />seconded by Hunter and carried, the request of Arthur M. Bradley, <br />Attorney, on behalf of St. Joseph's School that the City grade, improFe <br /> <br />In Re <br />Appointment <br />R.C.Marshall~ <br /> (Library Board) <br /> <br />In Re <br />Warrants <br /> <br />and maintain certain right-of-way, being the southerly 20 feet of Lot <br /> <br />? in Block 75, was denied and Administrator instructed to so notify <br /> <br />Attorney Bradley. <br /># <br />On motion of Trustee Dahl, <br /> <br />seconded by McBride and carried, Richard <br /> <br />Marshall was appointed as a member of the Library Board tO fill the ~' <br /> <br />unexpired term of E.M.Sundquist; term to expire June 30, 1952. il <br />. <br />On motion of Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, the demandsil <br />as audited by the Finance Committee were approved and Clerk authorized <br /> <br />In Re <br />Proposed Civlo <br /> Site for <br />City Hall <br /> <br />to issue warrants covering demands. <br /># <br />The Administrator read a report reference utilization of mezzanine <br />space betweem the present first and second floor in the City Hall and <br />on motion of Trustee Dahl, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br /> <br />Administrator was instructed to advise the Board of Supervisors that <br /> <br />the City is withdrawing at this time from the proposed Civic Center <br /> <br />APPROVED: <br /> <br />Mayor of ~e City of Santa Ans. <br /> <br />site aS the northwest corner of Sixth and Broadway as the site does <br />not provide sufficient parking space, and at a future date will attemp~ <br /> <br />to locate the City Hall in the immediate vicinity of the Civic Center.i <br />I! <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl and carried, the City <br />Council adjourned. <br /> <br /> y lerk <br /> <br /> <br />
