RESOLUTION 63-148 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ACCEPTING THE IMPOSITION OF <br />ADDITIONAL HIGHWAY USERS TAXES AND FEES <br />PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 1852, STATUTES OF 1963 <br /> <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br />AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> SECTION 1: TO comply with the provisions of Section 10.2 of <br />the Collier-Unruh Local Transportation Development Act (Streets and <br />Highways Code Section 186.1), the City of Santa Ana hereby adopts a <br />resolution approving the imposition of additional highway users <br />taxes and fees pursuant to said Act. <br /> <br /> SECTION 2: The City desires apportionments to be made to it <br />in accordance with provisions of said Section of the Act and is <br />aware of the necessity of conforming to the matching requirements <br />prescribed by Section 14 of said Act (Streets and Highways code <br />Section 186.5). <br /> <br /> SECTION 3: Ail monies received by the City frc~ the State <br />under the provisions of Section 10.2 of said Act shall be paid into <br />the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund and expended exclusively <br />for acquisition of rights-of-way for and construction of routes on <br />the select system of city streets established as provided in <br />Section 12 of said Act (Streets and Highways Code Section 186.3). <br /> <br /> SECTION 4: In compliance with said Act the Clerk of the <br />Council is directed to send a properly certified copy of this <br />Resolution to the Department of Public Works at Sacramento, California. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 3rd day of September, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE (D UNCIL <br /> <br />STATE OF CALIFORNIA) <br />COUNTY OF ORANGE ) <br />CITY OF SANTA ANA ) <br /> <br />SS <br /> <br /> I, DORIS M.
