In Re On motion of TrUStee ~ahl, ~nded by Hunter a.nd Carried, the ~epo~ts <br />Reports <br /> <br />In Re <br />Warrants <br /> <br />of the Police Department, Water and Sewer Departments, Building Depart-!i <br /> <br />ment and Judge~s Office, for the month of May, were received and filed.ii <br /># : <br />On motion of T~ustee Jerome, seconded by Hunter and carried, the <br /> <br />demands as audited by t~he Finance Committee were approved and Clerk <br /> <br />In Re <br />Communication <br />MarJorie Mtze <br />(damage to <br />sidewalk) <br /> <br />authorized to issue warrants covering demands. <br /> <br />Communication was read from Attorney Marjorie Mlze, on behalf of <br />Gertrude and Louise Montgomery, extending thanks for removal of trees <br />from the parking on 15th Street at the side of their property on 1415 <br />North Main Street and requesting that repairs be made to damaged <br /> <br />sidewalk on 15th Street. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by <br /> <br />In Re <br />David & Paul M. <br />Johnson - (Trash <br />& Garbage Contract) <br /> <br />Dahl and carried, the request was referred to the Park Department. <br /># <br /> <br />It was moved by Trustee Jerome, seconded by Dahl and carried, that <br /> <br />since the contracts with David and Paul M. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Dahl: <br /> <br />and carried, the Clerk was instructed to forward a copy of the suggeste~ <br />policy for the control of curb parking and off-street parking to the <br />Chamber of Commerce. On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome <br />and carried, the committee now holding numerous requests for curb usage. <br />was instructed to proceed according to the policy as adopted by the <br />Council. <br /> <br />On motion of Trustee Hunter, seconded by Jerome and carried, the reques~ <br />of Joseph Rubis for either a loading zone or a twenty-minute parking <br />zone at 1305 W. 4th Street was referred to the Administrator, Engineer <br />and Chief of Police for report. <br /> <br />Request was read from Mrs. A.E.Schultz, President, Parent-Teachers <br /> <br />Association requesting that crosswalks be painted on Maple Avenue at : <br /> <br />Walnut and if possible to have twoof the "Little Girl Signs" installedi <br /> <br />also, that <br />alley west <br /> <br />"School Parking Only" signs be posted on 1st Street from the!! <br />of the school to Maple Avenue and on Maple Avenue to Walnut <br /> <br />Street.
