RESOLUTION 63-159 ACCEPTING D~-~DS WHERE THE
<br />CITY IS PAYING NO CASH CONSIDERATION
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, TIDE WATER P~EALTY COMPANY, a Delaware corporation,
<br />has presented to the City a deed dated August 13, 1963, conveying
<br />an easement for street purposes on the South sade of Seventeenth
<br />Street, East side of Bush Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, WAN INVESTMENT CO., a co-partnership, and SOUTHERN
<br />CALIFORNIA SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, a corporation, have presented
<br />to the City a deed dated July 31, 1963, conveying an easement and
<br />right of way for street and public utility purposes on the South side
<br />of Silver Drive, West of Euclid Street; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, BENITA A. GALLEGOS has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated August 23, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the East side of Main Street, South of Central Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, SEGERSTROM CENTER, a California corporation, has
<br />presented to the City a deed dated August 5, 1963, conveying an ease-
<br />ment for street purposes at the Northwest corner of Eleventh and
<br />Spurgeon Streets; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, ALFRED L. PRIESS and SOPHIE PRIESS have presented to
<br />the City a deed dated August 7, 1963, conveying an easement for
<br />water main and underground water vault structures at the Northeast
<br />corner of Tustin and Santa Clara Avenues; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, THRIFTIMART, INC. has presented to the City a deed
<br />dated August 26, 1963, conveying an easement for street purposes on
<br />the West side of Bristol Street, South of Edinger Avenue; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, all of said deeds are without cash consideration
<br />being paid to said grantors by the City.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City of Santa Ana
<br />accepts said deeds and Carl J. Thornton, the City's designated agent,
<br />is directed to place his Certificate of Acceptance on said deeds.
<br />
<br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa
<br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 16th day of September, 1963.
