RESOLUTION 63-164 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />A QUITCLAIM DEED TO CLYDE E. AND ESTHER L. <br />HOWELL FOR CASH CONSIDERATION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the City published notice of sale of <br />surplus real property, hereirabelow described, at public auction <br />to be held at a regular Council meeting on September 3, 1963, <br />and at said time and place said property was sold to CLYDE E. <br />and ESTHER L. HOWELL, the only bidders for the same, in consid- <br />eration of the sum of $7,500.00, $750.00 paid on acceptance of <br />said bid and the balance of the purchase price to be paid through <br />escrow; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Escrow No. 50476-K has now been opened with <br />Security Title Insurance Company, 825 North Broadway, Santa Ana, <br />California. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Mayor and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed quitclaiming to CLYDE E. HOWELL and ESTHER L. HOWELL all of <br />the City's interest in that certain real property in the City of <br />Santa Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />Lots 5 and 6 in Block "F" of Santa Ana Investment Tract No. 1, <br />Humphreys Addition to Santa Ana, as shown on a map thereof <br />recorded in Book 11, Page 39, Miscellaneous Records of <br />Los Angeles County, California. <br /> <br />EXCEPTING THEREFROM that portion lying within the following: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point in the center line of Santa Fe Street <br />said point being 102.98 feet South of the center line inter- <br />section of Santa Fe Street with Second Street and running <br />thence South 89° 50' 13" East 22.33 feet to a point in a <br />non-tangent curve concave Northeasterly and having a radius <br />of 17.00 feet, the radial to said curve at said point bears <br />South 89° 50' 13" East; thence Southeasterly along said <br />curve through a central angle of 71° 52' 26", an arc <br />distance of 21.33 feet to a point of reverse curvature with <br />a curve concave Westerly, having a radius of 43.00 feet; <br />thence along said reverse curve through a central angle of <br />135" 56' 43" an arc distance of 102.03 feet to a non-tangent <br />line; thence along said non-tangent line North 78° 47' 37" <br />West 24.93 feet to a point on the West line of said Block "F"; <br />thence along said West line North 0° 09' 47" East 90.91 feet; <br />thence North 89~ 50' 13" West 15.00 feet to the point of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />ALSO EXCEPTING that portion of the West 7.33 feet of said <br />Lot 6 not included in the above metes and bounds description, <br /> <br />and place the same in the above-referenced escrow for delivery to <br />said grantees. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 7th day of October, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
