RESOLUTION 63-182 MODIFYING CONDITIONS NO. 5, <br />14 (g) AND 15 (C) TO VARIANCE GRANTED BY THE <br />PLANNING COMMISSION ON APPLICATION NO. 1829 <br />FILED BY GUARANTY CHEVROLET <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the Planning Commission <br />granted a variance on Variance Application No. 1829, filed by <br />GUARANTY CHEVROLET, to permit the construction of a new and used <br />car sales and service facility on R-2, R-l, R-lB and C-4 property <br />located at 807 East Seventeenth Street, Santa Ana, California; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 100 was duly filed by DALE <br />H. HEINLY, Attorney, on behalf of said applicant, requesting a <br />hearing before the City Council to reconsider certain conditions to <br />said variance as set forth by the Planning Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing, the City Council has determined that <br />Conditions No. 5, 14 (g) and 15 (c) should be modified to read as <br />hereinbelow set out. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the findings made and <br />the conditions imposed by the Planning Commission are approved, <br />except that Conditions No. 5, 14(g) and 15(c) of the Finding of <br />Facts on said Variance shall read as follows: <br /> <br />Se <br /> <br />That all signs conform to the C-5 zone provisions and <br />be located as shown on the plot plan, except that the <br />sign shown to be placed north of the driveway on <br />Santiago Street shall be located in a position south <br />of said driveway; and that the north edge of said <br />driveway at the top of the north curb return shall <br />be located approximately 10 feet south of the easterly <br />extension of the south lot line of the first house <br />north of Seventeenth Street on the westerly side of <br />Santiago Street. <br /> <br />14. g) That the subdivider submit street improvement plans <br /> for the entire Seventeenth Street frongage of the <br /> property and for Santiago Street to a point 10 feet <br /> north of the north edge of the driveway as referred <br /> to in amended Condition No. 5. <br /> <br />15. <br /> <br />c) That the owner place curb, gutter and sidewalk and <br />pave to the edge of existing pavement on Santiago <br />street, the new curb and gutter to be placed 18 feet <br />east of the center line of Santiago Street. Said street <br />improvements shall be constructed north from Seventeenth <br />Street to a point 10 feet north of the north edge of <br />the driveway at the top of the north curb return on <br />Santiago Street next hereinabove in amended Condition <br />No. 5 referred to, which point is estimated to be <br />approximately 240 feet north of the center line of <br />Seventeenth Street. <br /> <br />Ail other conditions shall remain unchanged. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Ana at its regular meeting held on the 18th day of November, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
