RESOLUTION 63-185 AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF <br />QUITCLAIM DEEDS BY THE CITY OF SANTA ANA <br /> <br /> WHERF2%S, heretofore on June 1, 1959, the City entered into <br />Escrow No. 42743-C through Security Title Insurance Company with <br />WILLIAM EARL PATTERSON and BLANCHE PATTERSON, and as a part of the <br />consideration in said escrow agreed to transfer to the grantees <br />herein referred to that property described herein which became <br />excess and of no further use to the City as a result of the <br />realignment of Fifth Street; and the City has determined to execute <br />a quitclaim deed to effect said transfer; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore the owners of certain property located <br />on the South side of Dyer Road, East of Oak Street, dedicated to the <br />city vehicular access rights to Dyer Road, and the present Owners <br />have now requested driveway locations across said area and the City <br />has determined to grant the same; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the Vige-Mayor~and the <br />Clerk of the Council are hereby authorized and directed to execute <br />a deed quitclaiming to WILLIAM EARL PATTERSON and BLANCHE PATTERSON <br />the City's interest in that certain property in the City of Santa <br />Ana, County of Orange, State of California, described as: <br /> <br />That portion of Fifth Street situated in the Rancho Santiago <br />De Santa Ana, City of Santa Aha, County of Orange, State of <br />California, which lies Southerly of the new South line of <br />Fifth Street, which is parallel with and 42 feet Southerly, <br />measured at right angles, from the following described new <br />center line of Fifth Street: <br /> <br />Commencing at the Southeast corner of Section 10, Township 5 <br />South, Range 10 West, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and <br />running thence North 00° 06' 45" West 1243.69 feet along the <br />center line of Sullivan Street to the center line of Fifth <br />Street and to the true point of beginning; thence South 89° <br />28' 45" West 332.45 feet to the beginning of a tangent curve <br />concave Northerly, having a radius of 1,200.00 feet; thence <br />Northwesterly along the arc of said curve through a central <br />angle of 11° 38' 20", an arc distance of 243.76 feet to a <br />tangent line; thence North 78° 52' 55" West 85.00 feet. <br /> <br />Said portion of Fifth Street quitclaimed hereby is bounded <br />Westerly by a portion of the following described line: <br /> <br />C~mencing at a point on the South line of said Section 10, <br />which bears South 89~ 34' 00" West 778.03 feet from the <br />Southeast corner of said Section 10, and running thence <br />North 00° 01' 15" West 712.28 feet to the beginning of a <br />tangent curve concave Easterly having a radius of 1,148.00 <br />feet, and to the true point of beginning; thence Northeasterly <br />along the arc of said curve through a central angle of 26° <br />28' 31" an arc distance of 530.47 feet to a point of compound <br />curvature; thence Easterly along the arc of a curve concave <br />Southeasterly, having a radius of 25 feet, through a central <br />angle of 74° 39' 49" an arc distance of 32.58 feet to a <br />tangent line, said tangent line being the new South line of <br />Fifth Street, and bounded Easterly by the East line and its <br />Northerly extension of the property contiguous on the South <br />which is vested in the grantees herein named, <br /> <br />and deliver the same to said grantees. <br /> <br /> <br />
