RESOLUTION 63-190 AFFIRMING THE DECISION OF <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION TO GRANT A VARIANCE <br />ON APPLICATION NO. 1850 FILED BY GOEDERS AND <br />MARK HOSPITAL, INC., SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after public hearing on notice the Planning Commission <br />granted a variance on Variance Application No. 1850 filed by GOEDERS <br />AND MARK HOSPITAL, INC. to permit the construction of a thirty-bed, <br />one-story convalescent hospital for alcoholics on C-2 and R-2 property <br />located at 3209 and 3217 West Fifth Street, Santa Ana, California, <br />subject to certain conditions; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Appeal Application No. 109 was duly filed by the <br />WILLOWICK GOLF COURSE appealing the decision of the Planning <br />Commission and requesting a hearing on said Variance before the City <br />Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, after hearing on notice, the City Council has <br />determined that the decision of the Planning Commission should be <br />affirmed and that said Variance should be granted subject to certain <br />conditions. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Aha hereby affirms the decision of the Planning <br />Commission to grant a variance on Variance Application No. 1850, <br />sub3ect to conditions as follows: <br /> <br />1. That a six-foot solid block wall be constructed along the <br /> applicant's entire east property line; <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />That a six-foot wall be constructed along the west line of the <br /> rear parking lot where said line abuts residentially zoned <br /> property; <br /> <br />e <br /> <br />That a landscaping plan indicating type, size and location of <br /> all planting material be submitted to and approved by the <br /> City Planning Department prior to utilities release by the <br /> Building Department; <br /> <br />4. That any lights used in conjunction with the parking area or <br /> hospital operation be reflected away frc~ nearby residences. <br /> <br />5. That all off-street parking and maneuvering areas be on asphalt <br /> or concrete, be constructed to City standards and marked. <br /> <br />6. That development be according to revised plot plan. <br /> <br />7. That the following condition be complied with prior to the <br /> issuance of a building permit: <br /> <br />me <br /> <br />That a preliminary record of survey be filed with the <br />Planning Department showing the severance of this <br />property from the larger parcel. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Santa <br />Aha at its regular meeting held on the 2nd day of December, 1963. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />CLERK OF THE COUNCIL <br /> <br /> <br />
