T <br />HERAPEUTIC ARTS <br />2215 N Broadway • Santa Ana, CA 92706 • 714.547.5468 • Fax 714.564.9690 • www.occtac.org <br />obtaining a credential for finishing their secondary education in a timely manner. <br />Because this is a high demand credential by employers, we want to use this <br />incentive as a way to help them secure and achieve employment goals. <br />For Current youth: Gift Card incentive will be $200 <br />For Follow-up youth: Gift Card incentive will be $150. Must be completed before <br />the last day of the 41" quarter after Exit. <br />Attendance: Youth in secondary education will receive a $100 Gift Card incentive <br />per semester for achieving at least 1 month of consecutive perfect attendance. <br />This is to encourage school attendance and progress towards obtaining their HS <br />Diploma. <br />Basic Skills Deficient (BSD) Youth: <br />WIOA participants that are identified as basic skills deficient upon enrollment <br />will receive weekly tutoring in Math and/or Literacy (see Work Based Learning <br />Policy). To encourage tutoring participation and motivation to improve their <br />Literacy and Numeracy skills, youth will receive a $100 gift card per subject when <br />they increase by at least one EFL (Educational Functioning Level). Limit to one <br />gift card per subject. <br />Employment for Currently Enrolled Youth: <br />To motivate youth to complete their employment goals, participants will receive <br />an incentive when they meet at least one of the following goals and provide <br />supporting documentation of completion: <br />• Submitting 5 applications: $80 Gift Card incentive (valid once per month - <br />maximum $320) <br />• Obtain employment: $150 Gift Card incentive <br />• Employed for 6 consecutive months: $200 Gift Card incentive <br />Employment for Youth in Follow -Up: <br />• Submitting 5 applications: $70 Gift Card incentive (valid once per month - <br />maximum $280) <br />• Obtain employment: $150 Gift Card incentive <br />• For 6 consecutive months employed: $200 Gift Card incentive <br />Post -Secondary Education for Currently Enrolled Youth: <br />Participants are encouraged to complete their goals toward post -secondary <br />education so that they may advance in their careers and increase their chances <br />Attachment C Revised: 05/14/2024 <br />
