RESOLUTION NO. 61-11 ACFdQOWLEDGING THE RECEIPT <br />OF A COPY OF NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE <br />PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO SAATI~A ANA, <br />ACCOMPANYING STATEMENT AND AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION <br />THEREOF AND APPROVING THE CIRCULATION OF THE PETITION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, heretofore there was filed with the Clerk of the <br />Council of Santa Ana a copy of NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CIRCULATE <br />PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO THE CI'I~/ OF SANTA ANA, <br />CALIFORNIA, accompanied by a written statement containing reasons <br />for said petition together with an affidavit of publication of the <br />same in the Santa Ana Register on January _~, 1961; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Annexation Act of 1913 provides that the Legis- <br />lative Body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of the <br />notice and approving the circulation of the petition. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: That the City Council of the <br />City of Santa Ana hereby acknowledges receipt of said notice, state- <br />ment and affidavit, as hereinabove set out, and that approval be and <br />the same is hereby given for the circulation of the petition for <br />annexation of that certain territory heretofore and hereby designated <br />as "~.EWPOR~.~ ~ARREN N. W.._A~NE~'. ~i~e circulation of said petition <br />shall not begin until twenty-one (21) days after the date of publi- <br />cation of said notice and statement. <br /> <br /> That the territory herein designated "NEWPORT AND WARREN N.W. <br />ANNEX" lies in the County of Orange, State of California, and is <br /> <br />described as: <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
